On Board Meetings Monday Nights 8pm Barn at Rickey's Farm

In case you did not read it in the papers, hear it at council meetings, or elsewhere the group "On Board" that formed is meeting for organizational meetings on Monday nights at 8pm. The meetings are open to the public and are held at the "Barn" on the Rickey Farm. It is located on Rt 94 N on the way to Warwick between Maple Grange Road and Heaven Hill Farms. They also are looking to hold support group meetings but the details and format of that are still being worked on. They also addressed the BOE at it's last meeting and have suggested and are working on making a difference in the schools (things like a Back2School night info, 8th grade orientation, and working on acceptance of random drug testing by the kids. They are on Facebook as already mentioned on NJ.Com. One can also contact Janelle Passafaro, as she is the point person for the organization. Her number is 973-862-1259*. Again you can go to the Monday meetings as well. Many groups and organizations are trying to work and help them including our township. Working on a website as well. They are looking to cover all the bases.

They have covered a lot of ground in a short period of time and are working to cover a lot more.

The OnBoard group has been meeting regularly on Monday nights at the Barn on the Rickey Farm. As part of their meetings they have been working on ways to make it easier for people to reach them, find out about or where to get help, or to provide assistance as they can. One way is via a new OnBoard website that is being created. It should be available soon. They are also working on providing an email and phone number for people to use to contact them. They have done a lot in a very short time span and are working hard to help address local substance abuse issues and provide help as they can as needed.
